Fresh guidelines for speedy disposal of child rape cases

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued some guidelines for speedy disposal of child rape cases in the country after receiving comments and suggestions on this matter from Home Secretaries and DGPs of all the states and the union territories.

# The administration should take prompt actions in the complaints related to child rape cases.

The victim or an eyewitness or anyone can file the complaints

preferably a lady police officer should investigate the case

# The statement of the complaints should be recorded word for word from the residence of the victim

The process of medical examination of the victim that it should be done preferably within 24 hours

# The gynecologist should also ensure the recording of the history of the incident happened with the victim.

And many more guidelines But what about the will-power to implement the guidelines effectively.
